Business Analyst/PMO - (Fixed-term contract)

This position will report directly to the COO of a company operating in the insurance brokerage sector, with a specific focus on P&C and Employee Benefits products both domestic and international programs. The role is part of a strategic phase of business transformation and expansion across selected business lines. The Business Analyst will play a hands-on role in process definition, workflow optimization, and operational structuring, ensuring effective coordination, execution, and delivery of key strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze key operational processes and support project management across multiple business lines, aligned with the transformation roadmap and priorities set by operational sponsors.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, from planning through execution and delivery, ensuring alignment with timelines, objectives, and quality standards.
  • Map, review, and redesign core operational processes, especially those linked to international insurance programs.
  • Develop detailed work plans including activities, timelines, performance metrics, dependencies, and critical paths.
  • Monitor project performance using KPIs, milestones, and progress reports, managing budget control and escalation processes where needed.
  • Provide hands-on support in the implementation of operational innovation projects.
  • Oversee performance indicators across the Quote-to-Cash (QTC) cycle.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Draft and maintain operational documentation such as process maps, manuals, and guidelines for team use.
  • Ensure business continuity (BAU) during transitional phases.
  • Collaborate with various departments (IT, Compliance, Business Lines, etc.) to ensure operational activities are aligned with overall company objectives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst/Project Manager in transformation or operational change projects, ideally within the insurance brokerage or consulting sector, with exposure to P&C/Employee Benefits specialties and International programs.
  • Strong understanding of operational models and processes typical of the insurance and brokerage industries.
  • Familiarity with IVASS regulations and applicable compliance frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and proficiency with project management and reporting tools.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.

Location: Milan (willingness to travel)
