About The Role
We are seeking a freelance Process Project Manager with a strong background in process engineering to lead a key equipment installation project in the food industry. This is a hands-on role ideal for a mid to senior-level professional who thrives in dynamic industrial environments and is fluent in both Italian and English.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of equipment installation and commissioning activities on-site.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on technical and operational requirements.
- Support process design reviews, layout optimization, and process integration.
- Monitor project milestones, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular project updates and documentation to stakeholders.
- Proven experience managing industrial equipment installation projects, ideally in the food or beverage sector.
- Solid understanding of process engineering, utilities, and factory operations.
- Familiarity with GMP and food safety standards is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in project planning tools (e.g., MS Project) and MS Office.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Degree in Engineering (Process, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
- Availability to work on-site in Perugia for the project duration.
