Product Development Manager – Medical Devices

Location: Province Parma, South; travel in Italy and abroad.

Contract: Permanent, full-time.

Salary: €50,000–€60,000, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of new medical devices from concept to launch.
• Study market and technology trends; define product strategy.
• Supervise design, focusing on electronics, firmware, and software.
• Coordinate external suppliers and collaborate with internal designers.
• Support validation and certification processes.
• Monitor regulatory updates and assess product impact.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Quality, Operations, and Regulatory Affairs.
• Define product development plan and track progress.
• Travel to Italy and abroad for technical support and group meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Mechatronic, Biomedical, Physics or related disciplines.
• Experience in developing complex electromechanical or medical devices.
• Project management of technical projects with mechanical, electronic, and software integration.
• Practical problem‑solving orientation.
• Knowledge of medical sector regulations (preference).
• Good English language skill.
