SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER

The resource will be responsible for quality verification ensuring that all products are free of defects and conform to technical and production specifications and company quality and process standards.

Soilmec SpA is looking for :

SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER

The resource will be responsible for quality verification ensuring that all products are free of defects and conform to technical and production specifications and company quality and process standards.

Activities :

• Provides support to the supplier qualification process.
• Periodically monitors the quality performance of suppliers, preparing and performing specific audits resulting in their evaluation, proposing possible improvement plans to reduce defect rates.
• Within internal reports and customer complaints, managing Supplier NCs and Waivers. Defining and conducting tests and evaluations on products to identify quality problems.
• Management of component sampling.
• CQC (Certificate of Quantity and Conformity) analysis with sharing with supplier.
• Supporting process engineering. In detail, act as a liaison between the engineering department and the
• supplier to identify quality problems and find solutions.
• Monitor the development of new components in their progress stages

Required :

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or electronic engineering
• Excellent working knowledge of quality control standards
• Ability to provide guidance to improve process efficiency
• Proven experience in manufacturing and supplier management
• Thorough knowledge of technical aspects of manufacturing and engineering principles
• Experience with manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and teamwork skills.
