Automation Test Engineer II

Our client, a leader in Energy & Industrial Manufacturing, is seeking an Automation Test Engineer II to join their team. As an Automation Test Engineer II, you will be part of the Manufacturing & Testing Department supporting the Electrical Testing, Quality, and Engineering Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a continuous improvement mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Automation Test Engineer II

Location: Imperial, PA

Pay Range: $33-$37/ per hour

What’s the Job?

• Perform full functional testing of inverters, converters, and variable frequency drives including insulation, Hi‑Pot, I/O, cooling systems, and performance testing.
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment and develop solutions using technical expertise.
• Develop test labs, test plans, and test procedure requirements.
• Prepare test reports and documentation using engineering templates.
• Support safety compliance, LOTO procedures, and lead customer witness factory acceptance testing.

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in equipment or electrical testing.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment manufacturing.
• Experience with lean/5S, quality, and engineering processes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
