About the Role
We are looking for an Internal Sales/Sales Specialist in the Microsoft Business Unit. The person will be responsible for the Microsoft portfolio, selling and negotiating product information, pricing, special offers and promotions, and closing orders. They should be able to sell the benefits of using TD SYNNEX and the company’s value proposition, and develop partner relationships (including account planning, cross‑selling, etc.).
What You Will Do
- Build excellent customer and vendor sales relationships through proactive engagement
- Generate new business opportunities by planning outbound calls to customers, having conversations about our solutions, and identifying opportunities
- Engage in active inside selling by gathering relevant internal and external customer information
- Manage customer backorder with specialist knowledge and engage in “intelligent project fishing”
- Manage end‑to‑end projects or hand over to presales for technical requirements
- Generate and own a pipeline of deals in TD SYNNEX’s CRM system and ensure active closure of opportunities
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience with the Microsoft portfolio
- Excellent telephone manner and effective communication skills
- Drive to achieve set targets
- Understands sales process
- Strong relationship building skills
- Previous experience with IT systems for quotation, order entry, and CRM
- Knowledge of product set desirable but not essential
- IT industry knowledge desirable but not essential
