Job Purpose
The Junior Product Operations Coordinator plays a key role in keeping the jewellery production chain running smoothly, ensuring a seamless flow of product from suppliers through to point of sale.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning:
- Monitoring finished goods stock levels.
- Entering purchase orders into the system.
- Planning and releasing orders to suppliers.
- Logistics:
- Managing orders, returns, and repairs.
- Monitoring purchase order status, shipments, and inventory.
- Production:
- Preparing product technical sheets and bills of materials.
- Updating and maintaining product databases.
- Calculating component and semi-finished product requirements for production.
- Monitoring stock levels and planning replenishment orders.
- Customer Support:
- Implementing guidelines and procedures for repairs.
- Feasibility checks for repair interventions and special requests.
- Managing and processing special orders.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Direct interaction with the Impex office for the supply chain of components and semi-finished goods.
- Active involvement with Sales, Customer Service, and Warehouse teams to prevent and resolve operational issues.
About You
The ideal candidate holds a technical/scientific educational background, has strong interpersonal and organisational skills, and demonstrates a natural inclination for learning.
Required
- Good written and spoken English.
- Work experience within product-based companies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Knowledge of 3D design software.
- Passion for production processes.
