SALES ASSOCIATE (MINIMART)

Job Summary: Grade NF01. Sells general merchandise to customers and works as part of a sales team to provide excellent service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greets and engages customers, assists in merchandise selection, and suggests additional items.
• Interacts with customers and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Becomes knowledgeable about merchandise and communicates product information to customers.
• Ensures assigned areas are fully stocked and participates in department meetings to improve customer service.
• Completes sales transactions efficiently and handles customer returns and problems tactfully.
• Maintains a high level of awareness to deter theft and offers excellent customer service.
• Unpacks, stages, and moves merchandise, and assists in creating store displays and performing periodic inventories.
• Completes paperwork associated with merchandise inventory movement, customer returns, and cash register operation.

Requirements: No experience required, high school graduate or equivalent preferred. Must be 18 or older to apply.
