Overview

Join a dynamic multinational company in the primary sector as we seek an enthusiastic Sales Manager to drive our client sales efforts forward.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop the existing customer portfolio, ensuring strong and lasting client relationships.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of customer accounts, with support from the customer service team.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports and forecasts, leveraging advanced Excel functionalities (including pivot tables).
  • Regularly visit clients across Italy, optimizing weekly travel schedules to maximize efficiency.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and addressing their needs effectively.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the commodities.
  • Native Italian. Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in German is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the Office Automation package (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word). Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create and analyze pivot tables and manage detailed reports.
  • Must be a very positive person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Result-oriented with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Autonomous with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • High degree of integrity and professionalism.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Self-starter with the ability to independently organize and manage schedules.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
