Mechanical Project Development Specialist

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of cutting-edge marine solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute mechanical development and produce technical documentation
• Interface with internal teams and external partners to drive project delivery
• Support engineering activities across multiple departments
• Collaborate with electronic engineers to develop mechatronic products
• Work in cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
• Provide excellent client service at a global level

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical, Aeronautical or Naval Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical system design and development
• Expert proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred) - 3D modeling, CAM generation, PDM management, FEM / CFD simulations
• Experience in FMEA / Risk Analysis and Design Review
• Professional fluency in both Italian and English
• Willingness to relocate to Livorno area for full-time production oversight

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in marine or offshore applications
• Experience with industrial automation, sensors, hydraulics and control systems
• Knowledge of IoT solutions for remote monitoring and control
• International work experience or collaboration with global teams
• Familiarity with robotics and vision systems integration
