Job Title

HSE Supervisor

About the Role

We are looking for an HSE Supervisor to oversee health, safety and environmental activities across construction sites and production facilities in Italy, covering the Oil & Gas, Energy, Infrastructure and Construction sectors.

As a key team member, you will coordinate HSE activities, ensure compliance with Italian regulations and company procedures, and promote a culture of prevention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate HSE activities on construction sites and/or production facilities.
  • Verify and update documentation (DVR, DUVRI, POS, PSC).
  • Monitor compliance with Italian HSE regulations and company procedures on construction sites and plants.
  • Participate in audits, inspections, technical meetings, and investigations into near‑misses, accidents and non‑compliance, proposing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage and monitor HSE KPIs, reporting and mandatory documentation.
  • Handle non‑compliance and improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with HSE managers, project managers and contractors to ensure compliance and operational standards.
  • Provide training and raise awareness among internal staff and subcontractors.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Safety Engineering, Prevention Techniques or a related field, or a technical diploma in environmental, engineering or safety disciplines; alternatively proven experience as an HSE Supervisor.
  • ASPP qualification (modules A and B) preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HSE, preferably in O&G or construction contexts.
  • In‑depth knowledge of Legislative Decree 81/08, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
  • Strong digital skills and experience with HSE management software.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken) and Italian.
  • Willingness to travel nationally.
