Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Driving continuous improvement activities, monitoring Grunenthal´s Business system (GOBS) progress, participating in site improvement assessments as well as developing and ensuring follow-through on improvement plans
  • Working with production & training teams to deliver targeted OPEX training and demonstrate use of Lean/Six Sigma and TPM concepts
  • Organizing events/workshops in the department to drive knowledge transfer and sharing of good manufacturing and best demonstrated practices
  • Developing presentations to summarize findings and propose recommendations
  • Supporting standardization of processes and continuous improvement training materials
  • Leading SMED activities
  • Leading MFA (material flow analysis)

What you'll bring to the table

To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, chemistry or pharmacy)
  • Minimum 3 years experienced continuous improvement leadership or process engineering roles, implementing Lean and Six Sigma or other OPEX transformations in structured manufacturing companies - Project Management Experience would be beneficial
  • Fluent both in Italian and English
  • Strong process engineering and data analysis skills
  • Empathy and excellent communication skills, presentation and influencing skills, change management ability and strategic thinking
  • Advanced skills with Excel and PowerPoint and in the use of mini-tab tools
