Legal Counsel

GRS Recruitment is excited to present an opportunity for a Legal Counsel with a renowned Pharmaceutical company in Nicosia. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this key role involves aligning legal operations with the company's strategic growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal expertise, operational understanding, and strategic thinking. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on various legal documents, including commercial, distribution, safety, manufacturing, IT/software, labour, and marketing agreements.
• Provide proactive legal guidance on regulatory and compliance matters to ensure adherence to all legal, statutory, and contractual obligations.
• Manage and support the company’s trademark and patent portfolio in collaboration with external IP agents, ensuring intellectual property protection.
• Maintain the contracts management system for accessibility, organization, and compliance.
• Assist in M&A activities, including due diligence, disclosure, and drafting and negotiating sale and purchase agreements.
• Handle and resolve contractual disputes efficiently and effectively.
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements vital to business operations and strategic partnerships.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• 5-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry, either in-house or at a law firm specializing in pharmaceuticals (preferred).
• Experience with corporate & commercial contracts, IP, compliance, dispute resolution, and data protection.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
