GIS Frontend Developer

GeoSolutions is looking for talented software engineers for the Frontend Web Developer position which would mainly involve designing and implementing web-based geospatial applications as well as providing support for our flagship open source frontend product MapStore ().

Main Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of new MapStore features
• Performing Code Reviews
• Providing guidance and leadership to other member of the MapStore team

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as frontend developer with React-JS ecosystem
• 1+ years of experience with webmapping applications & visualizing geospatial data
• Working knowledge of mapping frameworks like Leaflet, OpenLayers, Cesium, Maplibre is required
• Knowledge of web development (REST Services) with Python or Java is a plus
• Being fluent in English, both written and spoken
• If you have no experience with developing webmapping frontends your application will not be considered!

We are a remote first company, however the ideal candidate should work from a time zone between GMT-1 and GMT+3.

Relocation is not requested and as such we are not envisioning any relocation support package.

Notice that the selection process will most probably include an exercise to test your React / Redux skills.
