Project Engineering Manager Secondary Distribution & Products

Create a better tomorrow with us. We are looking for a Project Engineering Manager, to be hired with a permanent contract in Milan within the Electrification and Automation area.

Your Challenge

As Project Engineering Manager your mission will be to lead projects and deliver high quality results.

Main Activities

  • Project Engineering & Planning: Use engineering tools to configure and cost MV switchgear; draft project schedules and financial forecasts; monitor stock levels and plan replenishments.
  • Procurement & Order Management: Manage orders for MV equipment and charging stations, including related software; prepare technical specifications for purchasing; attend factory acceptance tests (FAT).
  • Cross-functional & Supplier Coordination: Maintain constant communication with factories and subcontractors; collaborate with internal teams such as procurement, commissioning, and sales to ensure project alignment.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Provide basic technical support throughout the project lifecycle; coordinate aftersales support with technical specialists; influence key stakeholders and customer decision-makers.
  • Project Execution & Delivery: Ensure high-quality execution of projects within challenging deadlines; handle customer requirements and proactively manage potential issues with the sales team.
  • Financial Accountability: Take ownership of both technical and financial aspects of the project, including profit and loss tracking.

Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of electrical plants, in particular on MV distribution network.
  • Experience in Project management.
  • Graduation in Electrical Engineering.
  • General knowledge of AutoCAD and SAP.
  • Available for business trips on national level, and sometimes also international.
  • Proficiency in English and Italian.
  • Eligibility to work in Italy.
