Job Title : Environmental Compliance Specialist

  • Avoidance of environmental harm through management of supplied components and materials is the primary objective of this role.

Main Responsibilities :

  • The compilation and maintenance of IMDS declarations for automotive customers' components are integral to this position.
  • Ensuring adherence to REACH regulations (EC Regulation 1907 / 2006) is a key responsibility.
  • Monitoring regulatory changes, particularly SVHC, to keep data on restricted substances up-to-date is crucial.
  • Collecting and validating compliance declarations from suppliers is an essential aspect of this job.
  • Collaboration with the technical department for material analysis and substance classification is necessary.
  • Supporting the supply chain in communicating environmental practices to customers is also required.
  • Independently managing the IMDS portal, including code creation, is an important duty.
  • Providing internal training and technical support on environmental compliance is another vital aspect.

Required Qualifications :

  • Techncial diploma or degree, preferably in Chemistry, Materials Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar.
  • Basic experience in compiling and managing IMDS and REACH documentation in the automotive field.
  • Excellent knowledge of REACH and RoHS regulations.
  • Operational knowledge of the IMDS platform.
  • Good understanding of technical drawings and materials used in mechanical / plastic components.
  • Strong command of Office software, especially Excel, and enterprise management systems.
