Italy Certification Commercial Management

Level of experience

Intermediate - RINA is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join its office in Vibo Valentia within the Italy Certification Commercial Management Division.

Mission

The mission of a Business Development Manager (BDM) is to drive growth and expand business opportunities for the organization. The BDM is responsible for increasing the pipeline offering and winning contracts for an assigned services portfolio and/or within an assigned geographical coverage.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Update the sales pipeline with new prospects for follow-up.
  2. Learn to prioritize and manage prospects effectively.
  3. Contract Closing Support: Provide support in activities related to closing contracts and gain exposure to finalizing deals and agreements.
  4. Cross-Selling and Mutual Opportunities: Support the development of cross-selling and mutual opportunities, exploring organizational synergies.
  5. Competitor Tracking and Intelligence: Track competitor activity and provide updates on news and intelligence to understand the competitive landscape.
  6. Collaboration with Experienced Managers: Collaborate with senior Business Development Managers, assist in focusing on new business, client visits, and understanding customer needs, contributing to building customer relationships.
  7. Customer Satisfaction and Repeat Business: Contribute to initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and encourage loyalty.
  8. Contract, Tender, and Quotation Support: Support in preparing and submitting business proposals, tenders, and quotations.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics
  • High School Diploma / GED in General Studies / Other

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of certification management system is advantageous.
  • Strong sales skills, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
  • Analytical thinking, proactive attitude, and self-motivation.
  • Proficiency in negotiation techniques and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Ability to structure activities, manage emotions, and build trust.
  • Commitment to sustainable development, embracing change, and fostering internal and external relationships.
