About the Role and Team

At eBay, a global e‑commerce leader committed to authenticity and customer satisfaction, we seek a Brand Authentication Specialist to join our Operations Team. You will handle the Consumer Help Desk to maximize satisfaction with the Certilogo Service, support Account Management and the Tech Team with expert opinions, and improve Help Desk workflow. This position reports directly to the Operations Service Manager.

What You Will Accomplish

  • Provide support to consumers via Certilogo’s Help Desk interface and email communication.
  • Collaborate with brand stakeholders and Account Management to support client investigations and enforcement actions.
  • Offer proactive suggestions for workflow improvements to enhance response times and automate processes.
  • Handle daily email inquiries regarding product authentication issues, providing comprehensive assistance.
  • Analyze user information, actions, and responses during the authentication process using the Certilogo backend.
  • Compare user‑submitted photos with authentic samples in the Certilogo archive.
  • Build comprehensive responses using available templates on the backend.

What We Are Looking For

  • Exceptional ability to spot differences between images quickly and accurately.
  • Experience in online brand protection, resell platforms, or authentication for designer goods resale companies.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Strong ability to relate positively and productively with clients and consumers.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with a strong orientation toward action.
  • High level of accuracy, precision, speed, and reliability.
  • Resourcefulness and autonomy in problem‑solving.
  • Team‑oriented approach with consideration for commercial and business orientation.
  • Resilience and ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
  • Passion for providing excellent service with a positive and hard‑working approach.
