The successful candidate will join the Business Intelligence team in the data analyst role with the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Requirements collection from business users and analysis of necessary information to be integrated into the DWH
• Evolution of DWH data model in accordance with Group guidelines
• ETL procedure management and development with Azure Data Factory tool
• Monitoring of data quality for appropriate use in business reporting
• Setting and monitoring business KPIs to improve business performance
• Develop reports and dashboards with Business Intelligence tools
• Support users to perform analysis on DWH data and provide functional support for data navigation

Key Requirements / Skills / Experience

• Proven experience (e.g. 2-3 years) as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer
• University degree in scientific‑technological studies
• Strong experience with cloud‑based infrastructures; Microsoft Azure platform preferred
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, R
• Strong knowledge of databases (SQL, MS SQL Server)
• Experience in design, implementation, maintenance of ETL pipelines in cloud environments to collect data from different sources
• Strong knowledge and experience with Azure Data Factory
• Knowledge and experience of messaging system (Kafka)
• Experience in data manipulation and Business Intelligence tools; Power BI preferred
• Knowledge and experience of Azure Databricks
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Work experience in the insurance industry preferred
