Business Analyst

Overview

G-nous is seeking a proactive and skilled Business Analyst to join our team supporting digital projects and services for our clients, including ESA (European Space Agency). The Business Analyst will play a critical role acting as a bridge between the stakeholders and the development team, ensuring the successful delivery of digital solutions.

Responsibilities

Work closely with G-nous business and technical teams, participating in cross-functional team meetings and contributing to decision-making processes. Ensure continuous communication with clients’ stakeholders to plan the activities, and address any issues or changes. Engage in project analysis (technical / functional) throughout the lifecycle, including design, development and testing, to ensure the delivery of efficient and effective solutions. Translate business requirements into clear, detailed and testable functional specifications. Develop and maintain functional documentation, including process flow diagrams and use cases. Plan, organize, and execute projects, leveraging agile methodologies and using tools like Jira to drive team progress, facilitate communication and ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Economics or STEM related disciplines
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst, ideally within the digital sector
• Proven proficiency in working on projects focused on the development of digital products and/or Business Intelligence solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal teams and client representatives
• Demonstrated expertise in Agile project management methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent English language skills

Nice to Have

Experience working in a consulting firm. Knowledge of needs assessment techniques. Experience in Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics.
