Project Engineer - Aerospace Sector

ABYLSEN is an international engineering consulting group with 3,300 employees and a turnover of €290 M in 2023. It operates in 30 locations across 7 European countries and offers expertise in Automotive, Aeronautics, Rail, Heavy Industry, Energy, IT/Telecom, Lifesciences and Banking/Finance. As part of its growth in Italy, we are looking for a Project Engineer in the Aerospace Sector.

Main Activities

• Preparation of resource plan for project development
• Preparation of technical budget, including non‑recurring design and development costs
• Preparation and control of technical documents (test procedures, procurement specifications, etc.) to support the development of hydraulic and mechanical products
• Project coordination and communication with customers and suppliers
• Support for the certification of aerospace components
• Supervision and verification of system performance, safety, and reliability analyses
• Non‑conformity management

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electromechanical) or Physics/Mathematics
• At least one year of experience as a Project Engineer
• Good knowledge of mechanical design
• Knowledge of the layout and architecture of electromechanical actuators, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic subsystems
• Fluency in Italian and English
