Housekeeping Manager

We are looking for a Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort at Mangia's Pollina Resort for the upcoming 2026 season. The role involves organizing daily operations, supervising staff, maintaining brand standards, and enhancing the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plans housekeeping operations based on occupancy and service needs
  • Supervises housekeeping team and ensures quality and efficiency
  • Monitors room readiness and cleanliness standards across all areas
  • Coordinates with Front Office and Maintenance for timely interventions
  • Manages inventory of linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies
  • Participates in recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
  • Implements hygiene protocols and ensures compliance with safety standards
  • Leads department meetings and collaborates with other teams
  • Controls costs and monitors departmental budget and productivity
  • Reviews operational reports and guest feedback
  • Works toward guest satisfaction targets and cleanliness review scores

Requirements

  • Proven experience in luxury hospitality, preferably in 5‑star hotels
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations and quality standards
  • Familiarity with property management systems and housekeeping software
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
