Job Overview

Cyber Underwriter based in Italy to accelerate our cyber portfolio across Continental Europe.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite business following the business plan and regulatory requirements.
• Support development and delivery of the annual business plan.
• Apply a Reinsurance Strategy to safeguard the portfolio.
• Contribute to meetings to share knowledge and best practices.
• Promote the department, division, and company to maximise brand leverage.
• Establish and strengthen relationships with stakeholders.
• Continually develop technical knowledge and expertise.
• Manage resources across the team to achieve business requirements.
• Motivate and develop the team through good leadership behaviours.
• Ensure accurate recording of insurance risks and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in cyber insurance as an underwriter/assistant underwriter or broker.
• Technically sound, balancing production goals with underwriting discipline.
• Good communicator and relationship builder, fluent in English and Italian.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative spirit.
