Jobbit is hiring a highly qualified Senior Back-end Developer (Java) to join our hybrid team.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services and APIs using Java and Node.js.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers.
• Manage code repositories and workflows using GitHub.
• Integrate and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.).
• Ensure high code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technology strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, and Node.js.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Nice to Have

• Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, etc.).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
