About the Role

Morgan McKinley has partnered with a HR technology software company who is seeking a proactive and highly organised Digital Marketing Specialist to join their dynamic Marketing team in Milan on a 12-month contract. This role is ideal for someone early in their digital marketing career who thrives in a process-driven environment, works effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, and is passionate about delivering impactful marketing initiatives.

The successful candidate will support the planning, execution, and optimisation of multiple digital marketing programs, with a focus on B2B campaigns across the Italian market. You will collaborate closely with global and regional teams, ensuring all marketing activities are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns across channels such as email, paid media, social, and web.
  • Manage end-to-end processes to ensure campaigns run smoothly, accurately, and on schedule.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Creative, Product, Analytics) to gather requirements and align on deliverables.
  • Monitor campaign performance, prepare reports, and provide actionable insights for optimisation.
  • Assist with content localisation and asset management for the Italian market.
  • Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines and operational standards.
  • Contribute to project management activities including timelines, documentation, and process improvement.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing, ideally in a B2B environment.
  • Based in or near Milan, Italy; able to commute to the office as needed.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in Italian and English required.
  • Spanish language skills are a strong plus.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools (e.g., CMS, CRM, analytics platforms, email automation tools) is beneficial.
