The analytics team

Data science and analytics are at the core of Free2Move products and decision-making. Our team covers a wide range of topics from influencing business decisions, to optimizing all aspects of the business, to putting in production algorithms that govern critical aspects of our products.

We work on a number of diverse optimization problems throughout our business such as: user loyalty, fraud detection, churn prediction, supply optimization, damage reduction, demand prediction, yield optimization, customer service analytics and many more…

Your next missions

  • Explore large datasets and turn them into understandable and actionable insights
  • Build scalable analytic solutions using state of the art tools based on large and granular datasets
  • Design and execute a stream of analysis and tests to measure the impact of your solutions
  • Create precise KPIs and build reliable dashboards in Tableau for monitoring
  • Design and build ETLs to support your work
  • Build machine learning models to forecast key KPIs

Expected skills

  • A master’s degree in a quantitative subject such as engineering, mathematics, statistics, physics.
  • At least 3 years of demonstrable hands-on experience as a data scientist solving problems in a business context.
  • Passion about statistics and data analysis. You are comfortable with both creating quick order-of-magnitude assessments, as well as crafting deep rigorous analysis.
  • Expertise in SQL, business intelligence tools such as Tableau, and a knowledge of Superset is a plus.
  • Expertise in Python, previous experience in production ML systems is a strong plus.
  • Ability to work in English with multiple stakeholders, and can communicate analytical and technical content in an understandable way for different audiences.

Our recruitment process

1 Step: A first interview with Amélie, our Head of Talent Acquisition Manager, to get to know you and understand your background and motivation for the role.

2 Step: Case study & technical interview: take-home. You will receive a case study 24H before a 1 hour interview with the Team Lead and a team member.

3 Step: Interview with Paolo, Head of analytics.
