Position
Buyer Specialist - fixed contract
The Buyer Specialist will be responsible for respecting the project schedule, managing procurement, and for all activities related to supply chain management.
Responsibilities
- Implement the QMS in the area of responsibility
- Shared responsibility for respecting the project budget, product cost, and tooling cost
- Define the Supply Chain for new components, sub-assemblies, or complete products
- Responsible for the cost of new components, sub-assemblies, or complete products purchased, as well as the cost of the necessary tooling
- Responsible for respecting the project schedule (delivery of components) during the various project phases
- Prepare Project Purchasing documentation
- Select suppliers in a global multi-functional environment (Purchasing, Quality, Procurement, R&D) in line with the Global Strategy
- Ensure the qualification of new suppliers via the Hill-Rom certification process
- Involve in supplier projects at an early stage (ESI) to bring supplier technical expertise during development of Videomed products
- Establish and implement energy performance assessment criteria in contract negotiations for energy-using products, equipment and services
- Inform suppliers that energy performance is an evaluation criterion for purchases with significant energy use

- Proven ability to manage several projects simultaneously
- Responsible for part in the Supplier Quality Lifecycle Management
