Job Summary:

The Senior Buyer is responsible for leading strategic sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely procurement of goods and services at optimal cost and quality. This role requires strong negotiation skills, market insight, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and service.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or compliance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and specifications.
• Analyze market trends and conduct cost analysis to support decision-making.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in international sourcing and supplier development.
• Knowledge of sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.
