Indirect Global Commodity Buyer

We are looking for an Indirect Global Commodity Buyer within the Corporate Purchasing Department.

The role involves managing the supplier panel for the following Indirect Global Commodities:

• General Services
• Facility Management Services
• Consultancy Services
• Other Plant Equipment and Devices

Responsibilities

• Manage the above-mentioned commodities, including RFQ, negotiation, business bundling, project award, orders, contracts, and supplier database management
• Define global commodity strategy and align with local buyers in the regions
• Proactively generate cost reduction ideas and negotiate prices with assigned suppliers
• Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking for main commodities
• Serve as the main point of contact for commercial, strategic communication, and escalation with suppliers

Main Requirements

• Previous experience in Indirect Materials / Services (2-4 years)
• Fluent in English and Italian; knowledge of additional foreign languages is a plus

Work Location
