Your opportunity

Field Technical Support Expert will report to Field Technical Support Manager. The main focus of the role will be:

  • Perform Installation, start‐up, commissioning and test of Sidel’s high complex Equipments supplied to customers’ plants
  • Perform technical assistance during and after warranty period of high complex machines and troubleshooting in case of technical issues
  • Support internal and external qualification of prototypes and technical modifications.

Your Mission

  • Start up, commissioning, test and services on Fillers of high complexity.
  • Technical assistance onsite during and after warranty period for high complex machines
  • Intervention on site in case of technical issues that require a specific RCA & troubleshooting
  • Improve personal competences on complete combi, trade associated equipments and line equipments
  • Support in the workshop for internal qualification of prototypes (run-off, assembly, test)
  • Support onsite for external qualification of technical modifications and variants
  • Responsible of equipment performances at customer plant, based on technical, contractual and safety specifications

Your Profile

Level Of Education And Languages

  • Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Technical professional qualification
  • Language requirements: Fluency in English is a must-have, a good level of French an advantage for your best local integration.

Required Experience And Skills

  • Experience in assembly and testing of complex machinery or field and service activities or technical assistance would be an advantage
  • Deep knowledge of automation devices (PLC, HMI devices focused on the motion control of the main brands as Allen Bradley, Elau/Schneider Electrics, B&R and Siemens) and communication networks
  • Capable to manage stressful situations
  • Organized, able to conceptualize ideas into professional reports
  • Attitude to problem solving (trouble shooting and RCA) and Customer oriented
  • Good Interpersonal skills, especially ability to communicate with different target groups (technicians, customers, etc.)
