This opportunity is ideal for engineers who want to grow quickly and gain practical experience with highly automated systems. The company is seeking an Automation and Commissioning Engineer to support the installation and start-up of packing and palletizing systems used across food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and other industrial sectors.
The role is designed for someone who wants hands-on learning, ongoing training, international exposure, and a clear path toward leadership positions as the company expands.
With structured training and mentorship, engineers build the technical and organisational skills needed to grow into Project Managers or Technical Team Leaders, which the company actively encourages as it scales.
Engineers will work on complete packing and palletizing lines, integrating PLC logic, interlocks with third-party equipment, communication buses, VFDs, and automation peripherals such as labelers, barcode readers, checkweighers, and vision systems.
The role involves learning and developing PLC programs in ladder logic and structured text, with direct exposure to Siemens, Rockwell, and BCR platforms. This includes working on network switches, servomotors, robotics, and complex system interactions.
Engineers will participate in pre-commissioning activities and then support system start-up at customer sites across Italy and Europe, working from home in between. This offers real-world experience with diverse production environments.
Applicants must have a working command of both Italian and English, suitable for technical communication and on-site collaboration.
