Cloud Lead

Chaberton Professionals, a division of Chaberton Partners specializing in the recruitment and selection of Middle & Top Management profiles, is currently seeking a Cloud tech Lead for a consulting firm, specialized in system integration and digital services.

We are seeking a Cloud Architect / Lead to act as a strategic right-hand to the executive managing our Infra Cloud Services and Managed Services Provider (MSP) business units.

This role requires strong technical leadership, customer-facing experience, and a proactive mindset to drive transformation and excellence in delivery.

What You’ll Work On

You’ll support and lead activities in areas such as :

• Cloud Adoption & Migration (lift & shift, cloud landing zone, governance setup)
• Cloud BPA (Best Practice Assessments, Architecture Reviews)
• Azure ARC integration and hybrid architecture enablement
• Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery solutions
• High Performance Compute projects (e.g., Azure HPC)
• Virtualization solutions (AVD, AVS, VDI)
• Edge & IoT Solutions leveraging Stack HCI
• Azure AI Infra and workload enablement
• Managed Services delivery , acting within the scope of our approach to AI-powered operations

Your Role

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud and infrastructure projects
• Act as technical lead across complex migrations, hybrid integrations, and managed services
• Interface with enterprise clients during pre-sales, design, and delivery phases
• Collaborate closely with Microsoft and our internal practices on solution shaping
• Support the BU Manager in prioritization, strategic planning, and offering evolution
• Drive the adoption of automation, AI for Ops , and continuous improvement

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure design, or managed services
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure , hybrid solutions, identity, networking, and monitoring
• Familiar with Azure ARC, AVS, AVD , and edge computing architectures
• Solid background in governance, compliance , and service reliability
• Strong communication skills in both Italian and English
• Proactive, structured, and able to handle multiple workstreams in parallel

Bonus Skills

• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-305, AZ-104)
• Consulting experience with large enterprise customers
