What does a Quality and EHS Specialist do?

As a Quality and EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our operations meet corporate and local Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, as well as quality control requirements. You will collaborate closely with site functions—especially department supervisors, maintenance, and engineering—and work with external consultants to design, implement, and continuously improve programs that prevent incidents and ensure compliance with regulations such as D.Lgs. 81/08 and D.Lgs. 152/06. You will also maintain and improve quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001), conduct lab tests, audit raw materials and finished goods, and drive corrective actions in partnership with Process and Production teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operations meet corporate and local EHS standards and quality control requirements.
• Collaborate with site functions and external consultants to design, implement, and continuously improve preventive programs and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain and improve quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001); conduct lab tests and audit raw materials and finished goods.
• Drive corrective actions in partnership with Process and Production teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in a Technical Discipline (Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or equivalent).
• Professional Qualification as ASPP for ATECO 5 sector.
• Proven experience as ASPP and/or EHS Coordinator in a manufacturing environment.
• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project) and internet search tools.
