RINA is currently recruiting for a Lombardy Certification Industrial Services Inspector to join its office in Milan, Italy within the Mediterranean & Africa Certification Division.
The role focuses on ensuring the safety and quality of industrial services (e.g. electrics mandatory certification, lifting equipment mandatory certification, elevator and plant certification, welding, pressure equipment, personnel certification and CE marking) helping businesses meet regulatory standards and deliver reliable, safe services to their customers. The role works under the supervision of Senior/Principal Inspector on more complex assignments.
- Proven experience in industrial service inspection, particularly in areas such as electrics, lifting equipment, welding, pressure equipment, personnel certification, and CE marking.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and mandatory certifications relevant to industrial services (e.g., electrical systems, lifting devices, pressure vessels, etc.).
- Strong understanding of quality assurance, safety regulations, and technical standards applicable to industrial services and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and compliance documentation.
- Attention to detail and the ability to assess compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and test equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting findings and interacting with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and under the supervision of senior inspectors for more complex assignments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to provide clear recommendations for compliance improvements.
- Certifications or professional membership in relevant bodies (e.g., IWCF, Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA), CE marking expert) is a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General
