To strengthen our team in Milan we are currently looking for:
Application Client Support Specialist
Objectway SaaS works closely with banks to implement, operate and evolve cloud or on-premises solution to improve their performance, functionality and scalability. As Application Client Support Specialist, you are the first point of contact for the banks regarding the supported applications helping customers by researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting issues, and resolving incidents and providing support for software bugs and other technical problems.
Main Activities:
- Support to customers on the use of the Objectway systems
- Triage end user’s reported issues and respond to them via ticketing system, phone or mail
- Incident diagnosis and resolution. Participate and contribute to the resolution for critical escalations and partner with other stakeholders when necessary
- Develop & execute system configurations via parameters
- Develop & execute SQL statements for creating reports
- Retrieve the necessary application logs if required
- Conduct health checks and monitoring of our core product and various Interfaces.
- Collaborate with other teams to undertake troubleshooting and resolving incidents
- Maintain documentation and corresponding tickets responsible for the process of assessing the extent of incidents, determining the priority/criticism of the ticket and its impact
- Project Support gathering, writing and validating business requirements, defining test cases, documenting and executing test cases and supporting application testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 3-5 years of industry experience (preferably financial services) in operations and/or service. Overall understanding and knowledge about investment instruments, clearing and settlement procedures, corporate actions, taxation, commonly used SWIFT formats etc.
- Previous experience in a 1st and 2nd line support role with a focus on banking applications and application management
- Experience in scripting languages and SQL
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience of working on projects
- Confident handling of Microsoft Office products
- Fluent English and good command of German is also desirable
- Willingness to work occasionally during off-peak hours and on weekends to execute special tasks
