UPMC seeks a full time adult Neurologist to join their Neurology Service Program at IRCCS ISMETT ( https://www.ismett.edu/it/ ), a collaborative environment dedicated to solid organ transplants and highly specialized therapies for end‑stage vital organ diseases.

UPMC is a world‑renowned healthcare provider with a patient‑centered model of care that leads innovation through technological innovation, research, and education.

The successful candidate is expected to manage all patients admitted at ISMETT with neurological complications or comorbidities, as in‑patients in ICU and any other medical and surgical units. The Neurology Service also offers outpatient clinics twice weekly.

Neurologists at ISMETT see a full spectrum of cases — stroke, epilepsy, cognitive impairment, migraine, neuropathy, and movement disorders — providing a rich and stimulating clinical experience.

The ideal candidate will be active in clinical research, build networks through scientific societies, and establish clinical quality improvement programmes.

There are also opportunities to participate in various collegial meetings, ongoing research programs and advance in academic rank at the University of Pittsburgh.
