About The Position

As Technical Product Manager - Power Electronics within our Mobile Power Solutions team in Pescara, you will own a key product category, combining technical expertise with strong business awareness. You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Product Marketing to define requirements, roadmap, and positioning based on market insights and customer needs. Your role bridges technology and business – turning technical excellence into competitive, profitable, and sustainable solutions within Dometic’s Mobile Power portfolio.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, customers, and internal teams to develop a deep market and technical understanding – identifying growth opportunities and application trends within your product category across the region.
  • Analyse market trends, customer requirements, and competitor performance, combining system‑level understanding with market insight to shape actionable portfolio strategies and define technically sound, high‑performing solutions that strengthen Dometic’s Mobile Power position.
  • Define and propose the product roadmap – setting priorities, identifying product gaps, and establishing success factors to ensure innovation, profitability, and long‑term competitiveness within your category.
  • Lead technical and market intelligence initiatives – from benchmarking and trade fairs to collaboration with R&D and Engineering – to translate insights into product decisions, optimised configurations, and successful launches.

A suitable background

Would include at least five years of professional experience in Product Management, as well as the following qualifications and experience:

  • University degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Energy Engineering or an equivalent technical background combined with solid Business acumen.
  • Proven technical and strategic experience in product management or portfolio development, ideally within power systems, automation, or mechatronic applications.
  • Ability to translate technical and customer insights into impactful product innovation and business growth, with familiarity in tools such as inRiver and Antura.
  • Experience working effectively in a global matrix organization, aligning stakeholders across R&D, Engineering, and commercial teams, and demonstrating flexibility to collaborate in an international environment.

To be successful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics

  • Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to turn market and technical insights into actionable strategies that drive innovation and sustainable product growth.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, enabling effective collaboration and alignment with stakeholders across R&D, Engineering, and commercial teams.
  • Experience in power electronics, energy systems, or related technologies is a plus, especially if combined with the ability to translate technical performance into customer value and competitive advantage.
  • Fluency in Italian and English; German is considered a plus.
