Materials Application Engineer - Aviation domain

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Materials Application Engineer based in Turin or Brindisi. The selected candidate will join a well-structured Engineering Support team focused on Aero Engines and Gearboxes. Responsibilities include R&D activities, testing, analysis, material characterization, verification and validation of new materials, defining technical specifications for special treatments, failure analysis, and collaborating with various departments and suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Materials Science, Nanotechnology, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience or knowledge of Additive Manufacturing processes is preferred
• Broad understanding of various materials (metallic, ceramic, composite, polymeric) and experience with characterization tests
• Laboratory operations experience
• Knowledge of coating and surface treatment processes is a plus
• Proficiency in English and good computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
