As Junior Project Engineer (intern), your role will support the Project Manager, particularly from the permitting and technical perspective, for projects involving photovoltaic systems (1÷50MW) and battery energy storage systems (10÷200MW). What will you do?
Support the Project Manager in coordinating the entire lifecycle of photovoltaic systems (1÷50MW) and battery energy storage systems (10÷200MW) projects from the technical and permitting perspective, from initial development to final connection and ongoing operation.
Assist in all permitting and construction phases, participate in public meetings, dialogue with administrations and grid operators, ensure timely issuance of permits, and perform site visits to monitor construction progress.
Draft graphics, estimates, calculations, perform basic calculations, simulations, and preliminary analyses.
Seek opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency, applying lessons learned to future projects.
Coordinate with relevant Project Managers to prepare and deliver comprehensive reports to senior management and stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress, issues, and resolutions. Monitor project budgets and support offer alignment.
Continuously monitor project adherence to internal and external compliance requirements.
A Master’s degree in engineering (preferably energy, civil, or environmental).
Good knowledge of Office, AUTOCAD, and QGIS.
Knowledge of PV and BESS technologies is a plus.
Project management skills (methodology, rigor, confidentiality, priorities management).
Fluent in Italian (native or C2), English, and/or Spanish.
