Blowmolding & Filling Product Manager

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Liaise between R&D/Engineering and Sales & Marketing to harmonize technology push and market pull, facilitating product strategy decisions.
• Conduct market studies and voice of the customer interviews in collaboration with GEA Marketing Intelligence.
• Benchmark against competitors, providing insights to highlight unique selling points and value propositions.
• Coordinate Innovation Board meetings, including preparation, facilitation, and documentation.
• Drive and participate in the market launch phase of products, working closely with Marketing.
• Represent the company as a Technology and Product Expert at trade shows, associations, and congresses.
• Prepare and maintain product and technology presentations to support sales efforts.
• Assist management in preparing case studies and business cases for investments.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Educational Background

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Technology Management, or Food Science.
• Additional education in finance, project management, and leadership is advantageous.

Professional Knowledge and Experience

• Over 5 years of experience in Product Management or Innovation Management.
• Experience in the Blowing & Filling technology segment for liquids and foods.

Other Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a matrix organization within a global environment.
• Leadership by consensus and facilitating decision-making across departments.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Proficiency in Italian and English is required; additional languages like Spanish, French, or German are a plus.
