Job Title : Data Analyst (Power BI)

About the Role

We are partnered with a large international FinTech company seeking a skilled Data Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI to support a strategic dashboard project. This role involves working closely with a junior Power BI analyst, mentoring them, and developing impactful dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making. The position also includes mentoring responsibilities for a few hours daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver new dashboards in Power BI.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into visual reports.
• Mentor and upskill a junior data analyst during 3–4 hours of the workday.
• Ensure dashboard performance, usability, and adherence to data standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in fintech or financial services.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, with hands-on, advanced knowledge.
• Solid understanding of data storytelling, visualization best practices, and dashboard performance tuning.
• Experience working with diverse datasets and transforming them into actionable insights.

Nice to Have

• Italian language skills – not essential but preferred for stakeholder communication.
• English proficiency – beneficial for documentation and communication.
• Experience mentoring or training junior team members.
• Power BI certifications – beneficial but not mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields.

Additional Details

• 100% remote, no location restrictions (EU time zone preferred).

Interview Process

One-stage 30–60 minute technical interview with a senior data analyst. Decision expected within a day post-interview.
