Job Summary

We are looking for a young graduate to join the network management area of Italgas. The role is an entry‑level Distribution Assistant based in Maglie, with a preference for residents of Gallipoli.

Job Responsibilities

• Support first‑intervention activities: search and repair of gas leaks on underground or aerial pipelines following company procedures and advanced instrumentation.
• Insert and register data from various sources, perform logical or arithmetic processing, and feed the database.
• Activate or modify the Distribution User Unit (IDU) and its extensions.
• Execute activation or reactivation tests for IDU.
• Assist in field operations and user notifications (meter changes, scheduled works, gas closure).
• Connect street‑side pipelines or underground connections.
• Allocate new methane reduction plants and replace street‑side pipes and connections.
• Place, remove, or replace meters.
• Control and monitor warehouse material usage for field work.
• Verify metering and plant safety, reporting any anomaly.

Technical Competences

• Diploma Geometra, Mechanical or Industrial Perito.
• Good knowledge of the Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Access).
• Good knowledge of CAD.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Knowledge of digital technologies and orientation.
• Category B driving licence.
• Preferred experience in hydraulics or methane gas distribution in industrial contexts.
