DevOps Architect – Dedagroup

Location: Torino, Padova, Milano. Activity can be performed in an agile, flexible mode.

Experience Required: At least 5 years.

Overview: You will be integrated into Deda Tech, an entity of the Dedagroup dedicated to supporting business needs through a managed services ecosystem and cloud solutions. Within our R&D division focused on Private and Public Cloud, as DevOps Architect you will lead the design and evolution of our infrastructure, establishing best practices for automation, management, and scalability of services.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native architectures, with a preference for GCP environments.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deploy processes.
• Manage infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, primarily using Terraform.
• Implement and maintain configuration‑management systems such as Ansible to ensure environment consistency and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to promote a DevOps culture and facilitate the adoption of new technologies.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose innovative solutions for continuous improvement.

Requirements / Must Have

• Experience designing complex cloud architectures (Public and Private), with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Deep knowledge of IaC principles and practical experience with Terraform.
• Proficiency with configuration‑management tools, particularly Ansible.
• Experience with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Good knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
