Full Stack Software Engineer - Angular & Java Spring Boot

Overview

FastCode is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience, skilled in frontend development with Angular and backend development with Java and Spring Boot, to join a 6-person team working on projects for a major enterprise client. The selected candidate will work in an Agile/Scrum environment, using standard tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitLab CI/CD, and will be involved in end-to-end development of new features, integration management, and continuous improvement of applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop new frontend features using Angular (v12+)
• Design and implement backend services with Java and Spring Boot
• Integrate RESTful APIs between frontend and backend
• Collaborate with Dev and DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines with GitLab
• Write testable and well-documented code
• Support architecture modernization toward microservices with Quarkus, containerized with Docker/Kubernetes

Essential Technical Requirements

• Experience with Angular for frontend development
• Strong command of Java and Spring Boot for backend development
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP
• Experience with version control tools (Git) and GitLab CI/CD
• Familiarity with Scrum methodology, Jira, and Confluence

Additional Technical Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• Knowledge of Keycloak for authentication/authorization
• Experience with Quarkus or other cloud-native Java frameworks
• Knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger, and automated testing tools (JUnit, Cypress, Jest)

Educational Requirements
