General Manager

Description

This role will act as a General Manager for the Bologna site. They will be responsible for coordinating and managing local Quality, HSE, Procurement, Manufacturing, and finance teams with direct reporting to the Europe’s Operations leader. The person will also have a direct reporting line for our Natural Gas Operations and Quality teams in Armentires.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be :

• Own Monthly operational results for Bologna and Francel to ensure financial and customer commitments are met and exceeded (Sales, On Time Delivery, Inventory, profitability)
• Drive operational improvement to support customer expectations and develop operational market differentiators
• Drive margin improvement for our Natural Gas skids business in Europe
• Orchestrate product moves within Europe / Globally in coordination with PRM Manufacturing strategies
• In coordination with Europe and Global Supply Chain identify, develop and implement programs to control our cost and our delivery risks
• Function as site leader for Bologna in coordination with Emerson country leadership and other Europe PRM leadership team to ensure alignment and continuity in a matrix environment
• Drive Operations perfection between sites to coordinate Natural gas skids delivery and profitability across sites (Bologna, Armentires, Manchester)
• Identify and drive organization and talent developments to achieve strategic deployment objectives
• Lead organization certification around Safety and Environment and drive team engagement to ensure compliance to standards and continuous improvement
• Ensure strong cooperation with PRM EU sites (Cluj, Manchester)

For This Role You Will Need :

• Financial Savvy for PnL is expected
• Minimum 10 years of successful experience in a plant or business management responsibility in an international environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, timeliness and accuracy.
• Experience on driving Operations continuous improvement programs will be crucial.
• Experience with Organization development is important for the role
• Eye for business and proven ability to train, communicate, present & deliver sophisticated or technical information in a clear, concise and easy to understand manner at all levels.
• Good analytical and data interpretation skills
• Proficiency in Excel, HRIS systems (e.g. HCM ORC)

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart :

• A technical or business degree in Operations, Business or an equivalent education is preferred.
• Experience in warehousing and manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience dealing with uncertainty and complexity.
• Experience in Production Master Scheduling in Oracle environment and SIOP process is preferred.
• Experience in Engineering to Order / Project based fulfilment or Low Volume high mix manufacturing management would be an asset
