As HR Coordinator atFlorence Bilingual School, you will play a pivotal role in supporting ourpeople and ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of all HR processes. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will provide proactive HR support to theSchool Leadership Team (SLT) and staff across the full employee lifecycle, fromrecruitment, onboarding, and payroll coordination to compliance, employeerelations, and HR administration.
You will work closely with colleaguesacross the school and wider Cognita network, ensuring HR practices align withItalian labour law and Cognita standards. With around 100 employees on site,this is a hands-on role that requires excellent organisation, stronginterpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities withprofessionalism and care.
This is a permanent, full-time, term-time only role (38 hours per week acrossfive days), with flexibility in working hours. The postholder will also worktwo additional days during the summer break to support key HR processes.
We are seeking a highlyorganised and proactive HR professional with a genuine passion for supportingpeople and creating a positive workplace culture.
We are seeking a qualified HR professional with at least two years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a multinational or educational environment. You should hold a relevant degree (e.g., Labour Relations, Psychology, or Law) and have a solid understanding of Italian labour regulations. Fluency in both Italian and English is essential. The ideal candidate is proactive, empathetic, and highly organised, with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to confidentiality. Experience with the ANINSEI contract is a plus.
