Position

PRINCIPAL DESIGNER, LAYOUT – European CSS Layout Team (Mid‑Senior level, Full‑time, 1st Shift/Days).

Responsibilities include leading chip layout, coordinating large‑scale mixed‑signal / PMIC projects, managing resourcing and scheduling, interfacing with customers, driving top‑level integration, developing IP mask layout, mentoring team members, and supporting project management and recruitment.

Technical Scope

• LDO, BUCK, BOOST, BUCK‑BOOST, CHARGE‑PUMP, SIMO, IBB
• Oscillators, PLL, Bandgap, References, ADC, DAC, I/O

Key Competencies

• Experience with Cadence Virtuoso IC61/IC18/IC20, VXL, Mentor Graphics Calibre
• Floorplanning large blocks, top‑down methodologies, AoT & DoT flows
• High proficiency in LVS/DRC/ERC/ANTENNA/DENSITY/DFM and standard layout practices (parasitic, noise isolation, shielding, well isolation)
• Excellent planning, organizational skills, interpersonal and communication skills
• Independent work, global team environment, process improvement, checklists, documentation
• Scripting in PERL, SKILL, or AMPLE (considered an advantage)
• PCELL creation experience (considered an advantage)

Key Qualifications

• BE/BSc Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• 15+ years of IC layout experience
• Good team worker in multi‑discipline, multi‑culture, multi‑site environments
