Senior Operations Manager - Italy

We are in search of a Senior Operations Manager - Italy to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll help bridge our central operations team with our local Italian team. The ideal candidate is an operational expert with experience in service-oriented industries (e.g., delivery, shared mobility, or similar) who excels at managing processes and reporting. This is a field-oriented role requiring someone adaptable and ready to roll up their sleeves to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing operational teams and processes to ensure smooth day-to-day operations;
2. Providing detailed reporting and liaising between local and central teams;
3. Handling operational tasks requiring hands-on involvement and attention to detail;
4. Regularly visiting the field to report and resolve on-the-ground challenges;
5. Coordinating and supporting local teams to ensure consistent service delivery;
6. Identifying and implementing improvements to operational processes in the field;
7. Ensuring operational metrics and goals are met, with regular progress reports.

Requirements for this role include:

1. 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within service-focused industries like delivery, mobility, or logistics;
2. Strong understanding of post-sales service operations and workflow optimization;
3. Excellent communication skills in English and Italian, with the ability to liaise effectively between local and global teams;
4. Proven ability to manage teams and processes, with hands-on involvement when needed;
5. Adaptability and proactivity, with willingness to engage in fieldwork;
6. An analytical mindset with experience in tracking and improving operational KPIs;
7. Knowledge of smart locker systems or logistics technology;
8. Understanding of local logistics and post-sales service processes;
9. Experience scaling operational processes in a growing company.
