Materials Application Engineer - Additive Manufacturing Specialist - Aviation Domain

The selected candidate will work in a structured Engineering Support office dealing with Aero Engines / Gearboxes, responsible for activities related to R&D, testing, analysis, and characterization of materials. Responsibilities include verifying & validating development processes for new materials, defining technical specifications for special treatments, conducting failure analysis on damaged components, and collaborating with departments such as Design, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Materials/Nanotechnology or a similar field, expertise in Additive Manufacturing processes and technologies, broad knowledge of metallic materials and experience with characterization tests, fluency in English and Italian, good computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), and willingness to travel for business.
