Our client is an international Bank active in corporate banking and trade finance. They are looking to grow and develop the business in Switzerland with a highly performant and qualified team.

As a Corporate Banker for Large Corporate clients in Switzerland you will be responsible for managing and developing a client base of large corporates in Switzerland servicing them across the whole range of corporate banking solutions such as Corporate Loans, Syndicated loans, commodity and Trade Finance, cash management and clearing.

Responsibilities

• Organize business marketing activities.
• Initiate business proposal and manage the whole credit approval process of the Bank.
• Collaborate with in-house or external lawyer to complete facility documentation, process and ensure the agreements are acceptable and protect the Bank’s interest.
• Carry out industry/area strategic planning.
• Cross sell different corporate banking products including loan, deposit trade finance, cash management.
• Implement post lending management for the managed credit portfolio.
• Complete a variety of administration duties to assist and manage the department.
• Work with members of other department or external parties by producing statistics, analysis review of credit lines and various tasks associated with corporate banking business.
• Update and maintain accurate client/credit files.
• Conduct and fulfil KYC and KYB compliance requirements, and any other legal and compliance requirements per internal and regulator policies.

• 10 years’ Banking experience including 5 years corporate banking in Switzerland.
• Educated to degree level or higher in Finance.
• A strong expertise in corporate banking.
• Result-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit.
• Capacity for multitasking.
• Fluent English, French. German a plus.

• Have an interest in economics and geopolitics.
• Strong business development and client service skills.
• Ability and willingness to work in a small demanding environment.
• Engagement in challenging and under high pressure projects with tight deadlines.
